Heart vs Brain

There are times when you understand the true meaning of the phrase "heart vs brain".

Heart is like this small kid. It wants what it wants. You can't reason with it. It is not scared of getting hurt. In-fact it is not scared of anything, which probably is the best thing about it. It lets you learn, keeps you open to new experiences, sees the best in everything and everyone. Motto is Pros Before Cons.

Mind...well mind is like your parents, concerned so much about you not getting hurt that it doesn't let you have the wonderful experiences of life. It is scared of everything that is against the past learnings of life. If it were upto the mind, you will never do stuff like getting drunk, eating as much chocolate as you want or falling in love(once and again). It sees the danger in everything and everyone. Here, the motto is Cons Before Pros.

Well to be fair, mind sees the good too, but it's more about scaring you. And then there is this battle, inside of you. Irrespective of who wins the battle for that moment, the fight goes on, leaves you wondering "would I have been better off listening to the other one?".

For some of those decisions, result comes out and then you are left with either a good decision or an addition to the long list of cons in your mind!
