That feeling of belongingness!

Ever since I arrived at this place, I was not sure if I really belonged here! If I will ever be able to connect to this place like I did to IITK! If this place will also become a fraternity for me like IITK! If the two years here will ever be even close to those 4 years of IITK!

Now, I am not saying that all of this has happened in past 62 days but a start has been made. The recent inter-hostel rivalry event is the reason behind this start. This event acted like a war, where soldiers from all corners of the country come together and fight side by side and bond in the process. We all worked together, we supported each other, we defended our teams, we abused opposite teams. We connected. We bonded. Also, I have to say that men here have a lot of respect for their female counterparts and therefore have earned lots of respect in return. Last ans the most important, seniors support the juniors so much so that had the rules not forced them, they would have participated in the event with us.

The feeling when we completed the task, the joy (euphoria at that moment) that we shared because we all were a part of it, the realization that we could not have done it without even one of us, the sudden awareness that we belonged with each other here at IIMC, gave us the happiness that even winning or loosing will not be able to overshadow.

So now I am partly starting to believe in the following hashtags/quotes about joka!!!

~There is no survival guide, because you don't survive at Joka, you life your life at Joka!
~Joka is not a place, its an experience!
~There are only two kind of people, one who have seen TR, and others who haven't!
~Proud to be a tribal of Joka!!

And of course, I cannot reveal more details because
~What happens in Joka, stays in Joka! :)
